How to install Towers:
---------------------
1. Make the directory holding the un-ZIPped Towers files the default.
2. Create a directory to hold the Towers program files and copy
all of them into it. For example, if you wanted to name the new
directory TOWERS, you could use these commands:
md c:\towers <--- this creates the directory named TOWERS on drive c:
copy towers*.* c:\towers <--- this copies all the towers files into TOWERS
3. Copy the file PICCLIP.VBX into your WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory. PICCLIP.VBX
is a Windows dynamic link library (even though its extension is VBX), and
Microsoft recommends placing all dynamic link libraries in WINDOWS
copy picclip.vbx c:\windows\system
4. Ensure you have the file VBRUN100.DLL in your WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.
VBRUN100.DLL is a Windows Dynalic Link Library required by all Visual
Basic applications. VBRUN100.DLL can be found on Compuserve (WINADV forum)
and on most PC oriented bulletin board systems.
5. Start Towers like any standard Windows application.
6. Instructions (and hints for winning) are in the online Help function.
7. Please direct comments, questions, or suggestions to
Peninsula Software
